READ: Korina Sanchez Questions Pres. Duterte's Criticism of Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog

Veteran broadcaster of ABS-CBN and wife of losing Presidential candidate Mar Roxas, Korina Sanchez questions Pres. Rody Duterte's repeated criticism of Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, one of Liberal Party's loyal member in Iloilo, over his alleged links to the illegal drug trade.

Korina Sanchez who also wrote for tabloid newspaper Bulgar stated on her latest column last September 1, 2017, saying that Pres. Duterte appears to be conditioning the public's mind about Mayor Mabilog's supposed drug links by claiming he lives in a "palace"-like house warning him to stop protecting those engaged in the narcotics trade.

The veteran journalist and wife of Mar Roxas said that President Duterte fueled speculation about Mabilog's supposed drug ties by assigning Ozamiz City Police Chief Jovie Espenido to Iloilo City.

PCI Jovie Espenido is the former Police Chief o Albuera, Leyte where he was able to capture the late Mayor Rolando Espinosa who was later killed by the operatives of the CIDG.

During the assignment of PCI Jovie Espenido in Ozamiz City, he was able to neutralized one of the country's most notorious drugs syndicate, The Parojinog Group.
