They are not as glamorous as before but definitely giving up their showbiz career and pursuing another path must be a good decision for most of them.

Let’s see how our famous celebrities doing these days abroad. Just like Krista Ranillo, Carol Banawa, Joyce Jimenez and among others.

1. Carol Banawa- She is a Kapamilya actress and did numerous movies and TV dramas as well. She is also a Star Magic Batch 4 alumni, now living in the US together with her husband Ryan and daughter Chelsea.

2. Joyce Jimenez- She is a popular sexy actress and did several movies together with famous actors in the Philippines. She was once tagged as “Pantasya ng bayan”. Joyce married US married Filipino- American US Air Force Paul Ely Egbalic in 2008. She’s now living in the U.S with her family.

3. Nancy Castiglione- GMA 7 contracted and launched her as one of the mainstream actresses in the TV series, Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga of Dingdong Dantes and Tanya Garcia. Her exemplary acting performance qualified her for the award as Best New Female Actress in the Star Awards. She’s now in Canada focusing her family and work as a broker.

4. Krista Ranillo- She comes from a "showbiz family" and earned her degree in 2007. In 2010 she married businessman Nino Jefferson Lim in a Jewish-interfaith ceremony. She has reportedly taken off from acting to pursue a law degree. She’s now in the US with her husband and four kids.

5. Cindy Kurleto- She is a model, actress, and a former MTV VJ in the Philippines. Her father is Austrian. She is known for being a commercial model and an FHM model in the Philippines and also for playing the role of Cassiopea in the hit series Encantadia and its prequel/sequel Etheria. After living in Peru for 8 years, her family migrated in Vienna, Austria this year.

6. Beth Tamayo- She was once an in-demand actress in the 90’s. She starred in a lot of television and shows and movies. She’s now based in San Francisco,U.S.A together with her longtime boyfriend Alexander Gredysa.

7. Jewel Mische- She won and was named as the Ultimate Sweetheart on GMA-7's talent reality search, StarStruck. She gathered hundred thousands of votes. Received Millions both in cash and exclusive management contract with GMA 7. She married Alister Kurzer in MArch 2015, now living with her husband in the U.S.

8. Ehra Madrigal- She’s a popular sexy actress and starred in numerous television shows and movies. She married Tom Yeung last March in Boracay. Both are now settled in the U.S.

9. Giselle Toengi- is a Filipino-American actress, dancer, singer, host, VJ & model active in the Philippines. She married Tim Walters in 2005, together they have Kenobi Benjamin and a daughter Sakura Anne Marie. She’s now a TV producer in the U.S .

10. Tootsie Guevarra- She is a former recording artist, actress, and television host. She began singing aged six, had released six albums by the age of twelve, and had hosted three television programmes. She was nominated Best Child Recording Artist at the 1990 Awit Awards. In 2003 Tootsie migrated in California, U.S.A. and married Italian-Amrican boyfriend Mike Monaco.

11. Anjanette Abayari- She is popularly known for her role Darna in 1994. She’s now living with her husband and two kids in the U.S. She’ also now a US citizen.

12. Kim delos Santos- she starred in a hit youth-oriented drama T.G.I.S and also several movies. She’s now a dialysis nurse in New Jersey, U.S.A. She’s also engaged to her long time boyfriend Ben-g Manaois.

13. Princess Punzalan- She is a Filipina actress in movies and television shows in the Philippines. She won the PMPC Star Awards for TV's Best Drama Actress in 1998 for her role as Selina Perreira-Matias in Mula sa Puso. She’s now a nurse and hand-on mom together with her American husband.

12. Maricar de Mesa- She is a Filipino actress known for her antagonistic roles in many TV series like Magkaibang Mundo, Villa Quintana, Once Upon a Kiss, and others. She is married to the basketball player Don Allado but they have an annulment since two years.She’s now based in the U.S and also pregnant with her boyfriend who has never been known to the public.

13. Julia Clarete- She is a Filipino singer, actress, television host and performer. She is best known as one of the co-hosts of Eat Bulaga!, the longest actively running noontime TV show in the Philippines. She first appeared as a member of Star Circle (now Star Magic) Batch 4 in 1996.
Serena Dalrymple- . During her career, she played roles in a number of movies and television series, largely with ABS-CBN. She’s now a corporate professional in New York City, U.S.A.

14. BB Gandang Hari- Gandanghari entered show business as a matinee idol and later as an action star. He was also the presenter of Philippine franchise for Wheel of Fortune on ABC 5. Gandanghari appeared in the film adaptation of the comic book Zsazsa Zaturnnah (her first film role as a gay man) as the gay salon owner Ada (Adrian), the alter ego of Zsazsa Zaturnnah. He appeared in the television series La Vendetta on GMA 7 and the Happy Hearts, later appearing on the ABS-CBN teleserye, Eva Fonda. In 2016, She was able to change her name formally to BB Gandang Hari. She’s now based in the U.S.

15. Ate Glow- She’s the impersonator of former president Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo. She got married in London to her British boyfriend in 20016.

16. RJ Padilla- he starred in the 2014 film Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina at Mga Anak and also appeared in La Visa Loca. He is the son of Rommel Padilla and half-brother of Daniel Padilla.he is a currently an artist of GMA Network and GMA Artist Center. Only this year RJ Padilla together with his wife Bianca and kids migrated in Australia.

17. Kurt Perez- is a Filipino former child actor. He became famous for being the Ultimate Male Survivor of Star Struck Kids, the reality-based talent search show of GMA in the Philippines. After Starstruck he didn’t pursue his showbiz career , he then migrated to Australia with his family instead.
