Another Step-up For The Philippines As Taiwan Chooses Our Country For Its Next Development

The Philippines is about to make its way to the world's radar again, but this time because of something good, not just because someone is trying to ruin us.
Xianglu Group, one of the most popular business conglomerate in Taiwan is planning to develop the Philippines by building the country's biggest ecozones and tallest buildings. Director Charito Plaza of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) already met with chief executive from Xianglu Dragon.
The PEZA director shared that the Taiwanese company expressed their interest to register its upcoming projects with the government agency.
Along with the proposed projects of Xianglu is an 85-storey IT building that will be constructed along Roxas Boulevard in Manila and a 3,000 hectare mixed-use special ecozone to be situated in Pangasinan.
The 85-storey is expected to start this year and is targeted to be finished in the next three years. The site has already been acquired and it is the spot right beside the Diamon Hotel.
Regarding the ecozone to be developed in Pangasinan, it is projected to encompass 10 municipalities in the western part of Pangasinan. It is projected to generate $360 billion worth of investments from potential locators and Xianglu Group itself.
It is also revealed that the former House Speaker Jose De Venecia Jr. played a major and important role in enticing the Taiwanese company to consider the Philippines for their project.
A little information about Xianglu Dragon Group from Taiwan:
The company is the developer behind the second tallest building in Taiwan, the 85 Sky Tower which was formerly called T&C Tower or also the Tuntext Tower in Kaosiung, Taiwan.
They also own the largest economic zone in Xiamen City, Jujian Province in China.
