How much water should you be drinking? Check out the Formula Here!

Before we show you the formula for how much water you should be drinking, you must first need to know the reasons why you make sure you are drinking enough water or other fluids everyday:

1. Drinking Water Helps Maintain the Balance of Body Fluids.
Since body is composed of about 60% water, it is very necessary that we have the right amount of water intake. When you're low on fluids, the brain triggers the body's thirst mechanism. Water is like fuel to us humans. If we have insufficient amount of water in the body, the functions of the bodily fluids may alter, including digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature.

2. Water Can Help Control Calories.
Dieters, for years, have been drinking lots of water as weight loss strategy. It is sometimes being use to substitute higher calorie beverages that certainly help.

Food with high content of water tends to look larger, its higher volume requires more chewing, and is absorbed more slowly by the body, which helps you feel full. Water-rich foods include fruits, vegetables, broth-based soups, oatmeal, and beans.

3. Water Helps Energize Muscles.
When muscle cells don't have adequate fluids, they don't work as well and performace can suffer. Cells are composed of water which includes electrolytes that is essential for keeping up the body's function. That's why drinking enough fluids is important when exercising since there are lots of electrolytes being used and water should be replenished.

4. Water Helps Keep Skin Looking Good.
It is necessary for a skin to be hydrated as dehydration is one of the reasons why our skins look more dry and wrinkled.

You can also help "lock" moisture into your skin by using moisturizer, which creates a physical barrier to keep moisture in.

5. Water Helps Your Kidneys.
Body fluids is like a transport bus that keeps stuffs inside the body to move like how the waste products being move in and out of the cells. The main toxin in the body is blood urea nitrogen (BUN), a water-soluble waste that is able to pass through the kidneys to be excreted in the urine.
Our kidneys are our cleanser as long as our fluid intake is adequate. It does an amazing job of filtering, and getting rid of toxins.

Urine flows freely when you're getting enough fluids.
If you chronically drink too little, you may be at higher risk for kidney stones, especially in warm climates.

6. Water Helps Maintain Normal Bowel Function.
When you don't get enough fluid, the colon pulls water from stools to maintain hydration resulting to constipation. That's also one reason why we need to be hydrated as always, because it keeps things flowing along our GI tract and prevents constipation.

Fiber together with enough amount of fluid, acts like a broom to keep your bowel functioning properly. It willl not only prevent constipation but helps your inside clean.

The formula for how much water you should be drinking:
